Upcoming Pool Closure

The pool at MacEwan University will be closed for maintenance from 8 December 2024, with an expected reopening date of 19 January 2025.

Swimming

During the pool closure, we will swim at the East Pool at the University of Alberta, which is a 6-lane, 25-yard pool. It is located within the Van Vliet Complex, with the entrance to the pool across from the service desk, through the women's change room and a universal change room.

Our practice times are:

Monday, 9 December at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, 16 December at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, 19 December at 8:00 p.m.
Monday, 6 January at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, 9 January at 9:00 p.m.
Monday, 13 January at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 15 January at 8:30 p.m.

During this time, water polo players are welcome to join swimming practices.

Water Polo

We plan to join the University of Alberta Water Polo Club during their practices in January.

Their practice times are:

Tuesday, 7 January from 8:30 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, 12 January from 6:30 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 14 January from 8:30 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, 19 January from 6:30 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
